Hello everyone! I just want to start off by introducing myself. My name is Nancy. I am married to a wonderful man and we have two beautiful girls - 7 & 4. I was born in Thailand and moved to the United States when I was around 2 years old. While here in the United States, my parents struggled to provide us with a decent living. I was married and had my first child at a young age. Of course, everyone looked down on me telling me I'll never finish school, I'll quit and probably end up working at a factory like my parents. Those meaningless and hurtful words didn't stop me from achieveing my dream and any of my goals. With the encouragement of my husband and parents, I was able to prove those people wrong. I am grateful to say that today with the support of my husband, I have graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Though it is exciting to have come this far, with the economy as it is and companies everywhere downsizing, it's hard to get an interview much less a job.

I waitress at a local restaurant for awhile and finally got a job at a privately owned company.
